The backpack purse is back. Did it ever actually go out of style? Right now there are so many styles I'm swooning over. I remember buying the most luxurious mini leather backpack in Belgium while visiting my sister years ago. I was obsessed with it, I used it until it broke (mostly because I stuffed the thing too much). Using a shoulder bag can become annoying and too heavy. A smaller sized backpack can certainly serve as your every day bag without weighing you down, not to mention the functionality is pretty darn fabulous. We just need to come up with a new name for them. Backpack sounds like you're shopping for your child. Burse? Backpurse? Backbag? Backsatchel? Haha...I could go on and on with this. Let's get to the goods...
I've rounded up some fabulous options from budget friendly to high-end drool worthy styles.
Rebecca Minkoff is dominating the backpack scene. This style in suede and leather also comes in black. Perfect size for everyday.
This RM is almost identical to the one I used to own, only slightly larger.
Again, RM. She has got this down. There isn't one of her styles that I do not like. This option also comes in black.
Everything about this See by Chloe option stands out. Size, color and functionality. It has side pockets and a top handle should you want to carry it on your shoulder.
This budget friendly backpack by Mossimo has a drawstring closure, exterior and interior pockets.
If you prefer faux leather, this BP style is a great option. Very sleek and no frill design.
This Asos suede number is a casual style that would look great with your workout gear for after gym errands.
Frye leather is so buttery soft. I am in love with this style.
I'm loving the tassel detail on this suede option (on sale, almost sold out)
I love the simplicity of this design. Very simple but beautiful.
This one is absolutely gorgeous and has a fun pattern inside.
Tory Burch bags never disappoint. This one looks heavenly.
Can we just stop and appreciate how gorgeous this YSL bag is? I can only imagine how soft it is. I'm in love.
It isn't possible to do a post without adding a little boho style. If you haven't heard of Nena & Co, you must check them out. Made in Guatemala by local artisans, each bag is curated using vintage fabrics. Truly unique. They sell out quickly but restock every week! Sign up to be notified to score a beautiful bag like the one below. (I am not affiliated with Nena & Co, I just really love their bags and wanted to share them with you).
That's a wrap! Which is your favorite?
